Emilie Kiser begs parents to install pool fences and get kids in swimming lessons after son, 3, drowned at home
Influencer Emilie Kiser issued a desperate plea to parents to install fences around pools six months after her son tragically drowned.
Three-year-old, Trigg, passed away in May after he was left unsupervised in their backyard in Arizona.
Kiser has expressed her regret over the accident multiple times since returning to social media in September.
In a candid post shared yesterday, the 26-year-old reflected on what she would have done differently.
‘Please take every precaution possible around water with your children.’ Kiser warned. ‘Drowning is quick and preventable.
‘I know statistically Trigg’s drowning won’t be the last, and more have happened since. Drowning is the leading cause of death in children ages 1-4 in the US.’
Kiser advised parents to watch their children at all times, saying ‘No amount of supervision is too much or “helicopter parenting.”‘
She told pool owners to install pool fences and even to add a fence over already existing protection like nets or automatic covers.

‘I take full accountability as Trigg’s mother, and I know I should have done more to protect him,’ Kiser said in another social media post.
‘I miss him with every fiber of my being. Every ounce of me yearns to hold him again,’ she continued.
Kiser was not home when her son tragically drowned on May 12 of this year. Trigg and his newborn brother were being watched by their father Brady Kiser.
‘I will forever second guess that decision, among many others,’ Kiser said in a report from Maricopa County police obtained by People.
