Moment YouTuber Jack Doherty whines about $250,000 watch while being busted on drug charges in Miami
The bizarre scene caught on camera shows the influencer pleading with officers to protect his jewelry even as they pulled suspected narcotics from his pockets.
The 22-year-old creator was detained early on Saturday morning after officers searched him on a busy street, finding what police say was amphetamine and marijuana.
But instead of focusing on the cuffs closing around his wrists or the charges stacking up against him, Doherty seemed only to be able to focus on his expensive watch as he continued to beg officers not to ‘damage’ it.
Footage shows Doherty whining, and begging police to remove his handcuffs so he could carefully slide off the watch and hand it over to a friend.
But officers decided that was not an option – even warning his entourage to back off or face being arrested themselves.
As officers then tried to remove the watch during his arrest, Doherty tells cops they can’t unclasp it and that it must be slid off gently so it wouldn’t get scratched.
He begs them to take his cuffs off so he can remove the watch himself to avoid damaging the piece of bling.

YouTuber Jack Doherty was whining about his luxury watch as Miami police arrested him on drug charges this weekend

The influencer could be heard pleading with officers to protect his $2.8million watch even as they pulled suspected narcotics from his pockets

Jack Doherty, 22, was arrested in Miami on Saturday. He was caught with amphetamine, which is an ADHD medication, and marijuana on him
Moments later, police had heard enough and shut the cruiser door with the watch still strapped to his wrist, silencing the influencer’s pleas.
The watch is believed to be a Richard Mille, which makes the most expensive watches in the world, with an average sales price of around $185,000.
The watch Doherty was wearing is believed to have cost $250,000.
According to Miami-Dade arrest records show Doherty was booked for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana (under 20 grams) and resisting an officer without violence.
Police say he was carrying amphetamine – a prescription medication for ADHD and narcolepsy – and less than 20 grams of cannabis, which remains illegal for recreational use in Florida.

Just after 9pm on Saturday night, Doherty was back online and back to his usual antics
He was transported to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $3,500 bond and released late on Saturday evening just after 9pm.
Authorities have not released details on what led up to the arrest, but just hours earlier, Doherty had been livestreaming on the Parti platform and posting footage from a yacht appearing to be completely carefree.
The YouTuber first found fame in 2017 through prank and stunt videos but it was a catastrophic, viral supercar crash in 2024 that cemented his reputation for reckless behavior.
During a Kick livestream, the then-21-year-old sped through torrential rain in a $300,000 McLaren 570S, steering with one hand while looking down at his phone.

The car hydroplaned, slammed into a barrier, and tore apart leaving the front of the car almost completely obliterated.
Doherty walked away uninjured. His passenger, friend Michael David, was not so lucky as blood streamed down his face as he waited for paramedics.
Doherty again faced backlash last year over videos in which he provoked strangers for engagement, only to retreat behind massive security guards when confrontations escalated.
Footage shows him taunting people with lines like ‘What are you gonna do?’ while hiding behind his bodyguard.
